Terms of Service

Using this site means accepting these terms. A visitor who does not agree should stop using the site.

This is a privately owned reference, not a government agency, sheriff, jail, court, corrections department, private-investigation firm, or consumer reporting agency. Neither the site nor its advertising partners offers an FCRA-covered service.

Nature of the Site

The site points visitors toward Lawrence County and Tennessee arrest, jail, court, custody, and records resources. It holds no official records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, file papers, or act for a government office. Outside search tools operate under their own terms.

Acceptable Use

Visitors may use the reference only for lawful purposes. They may not stalk, threaten, harass, misidentify, gain unauthorized access, operate bots or scrapers, disrupt service, or use content in a way that harms another person. Arrests are accusations and must not be represented as convictions.

No Consumer Reports

The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Site content and partner results may not be used for hiring or firing, tenant or housing screening, creditworthiness, insurance pricing, licensing, government-benefit eligibility, or any other FCRA-covered decision.

Outside Links

Links may lead to sheriff and police pages, jail information, booking tools, court portals, TDOC, VINE, federal locators, legal resources, news outlets, and outside search services. A link is not an endorsement. This site is not responsible for another service's content, privacy practices, prices, accuracy, or availability.

No Warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is.” No promise is made that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, free from defects, or that a partner search is thorough. Custody and public records change often. Nothing here is an official statement from Lawrence County or another agency.

Liability and Indemnity

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators are not liable for losses arising from access, use, inability to use, reliance on content, or use of an outside link. A user agrees to hold the site harmless from claims, costs, and reasonable legal fees resulting from that user's misuse or breach of these terms.

Intellectual Property

Original text, graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Lawrence County Recent Arrests or their respective content partners. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, or modified without written permission, except as the law otherwise permits.

Updates and Access

These terms may change at any time and a revision takes effect when posted. Access may be limited, suspended, or revoked without notice where permitted by law.

Tennessee Law and Severability

Tennessee law governs these terms, and disputes must be filed in a court with jurisdiction in Tennessee. If a provision is invalid, it will be narrowed only as needed and the remaining terms will stay effective.

Questions About the Terms

Questions about these conditions may be directed through the Contact Us page. Custody and official-record questions must go to the responsible agency.
